Linda Williams of the Hudson Valley is selling hand-crafted scriptural pillows for the cause of helping women transitioning from jail.
Linda has been a volunteer bible studies teacher at the Ulster County Jail for over ten years. She currently developes these pillows in her home. When I asked Linda if she was looking for a new space she replied,
“What’s important to me is to work together with the women. The pillows make a great product, but I want this to be about them. Then let them craft the pillows” Continuing Linda explains, “What makes these pillows unique is that they contain the entire scripture.”
This week (12/13-12/20) Linda will be welcoming Holiday shoppers to view and purchase the handcrafted pillows with special incentives. Linda says the pillows are great for people spending christmas in hospitals or as simple tokens of love for significant others.
